Tragedy Girls (2017)
Die besten Freundinnen Sadie Cunningham (Brianna Hildebrand) und McKayla Hooper (Alexandra Shipp) versuchen, ihren Social-Media-Ruhm zu pushen, indem sie als Amateuer-Kriminal-Reporterinnen von den Taten eines Serienkillers berichten, der in ihrer Heimatstadt sein Unwesen treibt. Als sie es dann jedoch schaffen, den Killer selbst gefangen zu nehmen und ihn hals ihr Geisel gefangen halten, realisieren sie, dass sich am einfachsten über Morde berichten lässt, wenn man sie selbst begeht. Als „Tragedy Girls“ werden sie über Nacht zur Sensation, während in ihrer Heimat die Panik aufgrund des neuen Killers um sich greift...
