6 Below - Verschollen im Schnee (2017)
Im Februar 2004 startet Ex-Eishockeyspieler und Adrenalinjunkie Eric LeMarque eine Snowboardtour durch die höchsten Gipfel der Sierra Nevada. Auf der Suche nach Einsamkeit, Gefahr und Abenteuer befindet sich Eric fernab von gesicherten Skipisten, als plötzlich ein gewaltiger Schneesturm aufzieht. Abgeschieden von jeglicher Zivilisation irrt er tagelang – ohne Verpflegung und wilden Tieren ausgesetzt – in den Bergen umher. Dabei kämpft er nicht nur ums Überleben, sondern wird auch von quälenden Erinnerungen aus seiner Vergangenheit verfolgt. Schließlich beginnt er, seine Drogenabhängigkeit sowie sein ganzes Leben zu überdenken. Mit viel Kraft und dem wiederentdeckten Glauben an sich selbst überlebt er sieben Tage, bis er schließlich gerettet wird.
