Der letzte Zug (1962)
Der FBI-Agent John Ripley versucht Kelly Sherwood vor einem skrupellosen Mörder zu beschützen. Sollte sein Plan, die Bank auszurauben, fehlschlagen, droht der unsichtbare Verbrecher – erkennbar nur an seinem asthmatischen Atmen – damit, Kelly und ihre Teenager-Schwester Toby zu ermorden. Um die beiden eingeschüchterten Schwestern zu retten, entwickelt das FBI eine komplexe Falle mit Kelly als Köder, aber der Mörder entwischt. Nervenaufreibende Spannung baut sich auf, während die nun panische Kelly weiter als Köder fungiert, bis das FBI den Mörder fangen kann. Wenn das FBI nicht schnell handelt, kann “Der letzte Zug” für die sie tödlich sein.
