Die Mühle der versteinerten Frauen (1960)
Der Architekturstudent Hans van Harnim fährt nach Amsterdam, um dort einen Bericht über das berühmte "Carillon der versteinerten Frauen", welches morbide Frauenstatuen auf einem Mühlenrad zeigt, zu schreiben. Dort trifft er auf Professor Wahl, Künstler und Besitzer der Mühle, der auch Hans Verlobte Liselotte unterrichtet. Elfie, die wunderschöne Tochter des Professors, leidet an einer gefährlichen Krankheit. Um zu Überleben benötigt sie ständig frisches Blut. Nachdem auch seine Verlobte spurlos verschwindet, kommt Hans nach und nach dem grausamen Geheimnis der Mühle auf die Spur...
