Yps – eine kommunistische Erfindung? (2015)
"Pif Gadget" avancierte in den 70ern zum Lieblingsmagazin der französischen Jugend. Die unter kommunistischer Federführung erscheinende Comic-Zeitschrift brachte Marketing-Innovationen wie das beiliegende Gimmick, verdankte ihren Erfolg aber auch der Mitarbeit renommierter Autoren wie Goscinny, Uderzo, Mordillo und Hugo Pratt. Ihr deutscher Ableger "Yps" erschien ab 1975. Die Dokumentation "YPS - eine kommunistische Erfindung?", die Ende Januar auf ARTE lief, gibt Einblicke ins Yps-Universum. Vor genau 40 Jahren erschien die erste Ausgabe des Kinderhefts, das eine ganze Generation süchtig machte und beim Erwachsenwerden begleitete. Es leben die Gimmicks!
