The River King (2005)
Der Kleinstadtpolizist Abel Grey untersucht den Tod des Schülers August, der ertrunken ist. Die Privatschule will keinen Skandal und beharrt auf der Selbstmordtheorie. Doch es gibt Hinweise, dass ein gewisser Harry den Toten drangsaliert hat. Der Cop Grey vermutet eine Mutprobe mit tödlichem Ausgang. Unterstützt wird er von der Lehrerin Betsy. Doch je tiefer Abel gräbt, desto mehr wird er mit einer Welt aus Korruption konfrontiert - und auch mit seiner eigenen Vergangenheit ...
