Wasp Network (2020)
Anfang der Neunziger flieht der kubanische Pilot René González aus dem kommunistischen Kuba in die USA. Seine Frau Olga Salanueva und seine kleine Tochter lässt er zurück. René ist nicht der einzige Überläufer in die USA. In Südflorida schließt er sich einer Gruppe Exil-Kubaner an, die sich „Wasp Network“ nennt. Angeführt wird die Gruppe vom Geheimagenten Manuel Viramontez alias Gerardo Hernández. Damit wird René Teil eines Pro-Castro-Spionagerings. Die Männer beobachten und infiltrieren kubanisch-amerikanische Terrorgruppen, die Angriffe auf die sozialistische Republik planen.
