Hickok (2017)
Wild Bill Hickok ist ein berühmt-berüchtigter Revolverheld, dem sein Ruf vorauseilt und das auch bis nach Abilene, Kansas. Dort taucht er 1871 genau zur richtigen Zeit auf, denn die größte Rinderhandelsstadt des Wilden Westens wird von einem Haufen Gesetzloser regiert. Weil er von den Schießkünsten Hickoks so beeindruckt ist, bietet der Bürgermeister Abilenes George Knox Hickok den Posten des örtlichen Marshals an. In der Rolle soll er nämlich so richtig aufräumen und den Outlaws und Cowboys das Handwerk legen. Der mächtige Saloon-Besitzer Phil Poe, selbst einer der gefährlichen Männer der Stadt, will Hickok jedoch so schnell wie möglich loswerden und setzt deshalb ein Kopfgeld auf ihn aus. Die Gewalt eskaliert dadurch völlig und schon bald kommt es zum alles entscheidenden Kampf Hickok gegen Poe…
