Slaughterhouse Rulez (2018)
Der Teenager Don Wallace wird von seiner Mutter auf ein Internat geschickt, das den ungewöhnlichen Namen „Slaughterhouse“ trägt. So wie alle anderen Jungen, die nicht sportlich genug für Olympus und nicht intelligent genug für das Haus Xenophon sind, kommt Don ins Haus Sparta. Es dauert nicht lange, da hat sich der Neuankömmling in die Mitschülerin Clemsie Lawrence verknallt. Aber irgendwas stimmt ganz und gar nicht in dem Internat. Schüler, Lehrer und Mitarbeiter haben scheinbar alle einen ziemlichen Schaden. Dons Zimmergenosse Willoughby Blake scheint ein finsteres Geheimnis zu hüten und auch der Vertrauenslehrer Houseman weiß offenbar mehr, als er sagt. Aus dem nahegelegenen Wald lauert Gefahr. Dort hat ein Fracking-Unternehmen auf der Suche nach Erdgas ein riesiges, tiefes Loch gegraben…
