Jackals (2017)
Die Handlung von JACKALS ist übersichtlich und nicht sonderlich neu. Eine Familie macht sich Sorgen. Sohn Justin (BEN SULLIVAN) ist in die Fänge einer mysteriösen Sekte geraten, von der man im Film leider kaum etwas erfährt. Darum hat man jemand kontaktiert, der sich mit so etwas auskennt. Jimmy Levine (STEPHEN DORFF) ist Sekten-Kenner und soll die Gehirnwäsche des manipulierten Sohnemanns rückgängig machen. Er entführt den Mittzwanziger und bringt ihn ins Haus seiner Familie. Dort beteuert das Entführungsopfer niemand der Anwesenden zu kennen und gibt sich als jemand anderes zu erkennen. Das hat auch seinen Grund, denn bald schleichen unheimliche Gestalten übers Grundstück, die sich Tiermasken ums Gesicht gebunden haben und den Entführten zurückholen wollen. Doch so schnell gibt man nicht auf. Man fordert das Böse zum Kampf heraus und gibt sich siegessicher. Leider versammeln sich immer mehr Fremde vorm Haus, die langsam keine Lust mehr haben Spiele zu spielen.
