Heisse Hölle L.A. (1986)
Nach 30 Jahren Ehe lassen sich Daryls (Anthony Michael Hall) Eltern scheiden. Der 18jährige soll zu seinem älteren Bruder nach Los Angeles ziehen. Doch auf dem Flughafen erwischt Daryl die falsche Reisetasche. Statt Zahnbürste und Pyjama schleppt er Heroin im Millionenwert mit sich herum. Am nächsten Morgen liegen sein Bruder und seine Schwägerin tot im Bett. Erschossen. Daryl gerät unter Mordverdacht. Mit Hilfe der Kellnerin Dizz (Jenny Wright) macht er sich auf die Jagd nach den Tätern. Die Jäger sind gleichzeitig Gejagte. Nicht nur die Cops, sondern auch die Drogenmafia ist hinter ihnen her. Daryl färbt sich die Haare schwarz, setzt seine verspiegelte Sonnenbrille auf und rast im pinkfarbenen Cabrio von einem blutigen Rendezvous zum nächsten. Der Junge vom Land wird zum gnadenlosen City-Hai.
