Mandy (1952)
Ein von Geburt an taubes Kind, einfühlsam gespielt von der siebenjährigen Mandy Miller, wird einer Spezialschule in Manchester anvertraut, in der es mühsam sprechen und sich im Kreise gleichaltriger Spielgefährten wohl zu fühlen lernt. Dieser Lernerfolg führt die entzweiten Eltern wieder zusammen.
