Monsoon Wedding (2001)
Eine Familie am Rande des Nervenzusammenbruchs: Lalit und Pimmi Verma bereiten die Hochzeit ihrer Tochter Aditi vor. Der genervte Vater kann es kaum erwarten, dass Aditi endlich unter die Haube kommt, aber die trauert noch immer voller Leidenschaft ihrem verheirateten Ex-Liebhaber Vikram nach. Während die neureichen Verwandten aus aller Herren Länder eintreffen, droht die grosse Zeremonie nicht nur in den Wolkenbrüchen des Monsuns, sondern auch in den chaotischen Verstrickungen einer höchst ungewöhnlichen Familie zu versinken...
