Astrid (2018)
Von Pippi Langstrumpf über Ronja Räubertochter bis zum Michel aus Lönneberga: Kein anderer Name ist bis heute so untrennbar mit so vielen faszinierenden Kinderbüchern verbunden wie der von Astrid Lindgren. Ihre eigene Kindheit dagegen endete früh, als Astrid im Alter von 18 Jahren unehelich schwanger wurde – im Schweden der 1920er-Jahre ein Skandal. Der Film erzählt einfühlsam davon, wie die junge Astrid den Mut findet, die Anfeindungen ihres Umfeldes zu überwinden und ein freies, selbstbestimmtes Leben als moderne Frau zu führen. Weiterhin zeichnet Astrid nach, wie diese Erfahrungen die späteren Werke und das Engagement der Autorin prägen sollten.
