Shut Up and Play the Piano (2018)
Chilly Gonzales ist preisgekrönter Komponist, Klaviervirtuose und Entertainer. Er stellt Rap und Elektronik ganz selbstverständlich neben Kammermusik und ist der unverschämte Pop-Performer, der ungebeten in Bademantel und Pantoffeln im Elfenbeinturm der Klassik abhängt. Als exzentrischer Musiker ist er Inspirationsquelle für so unterschiedliche Künstler wie Feist, Jarvis Cocker, Peaches, Daft Punk und Drake. Veränderung ist die einzige Konstante in Gonzales‘ künstlerischem Output. Jedes Mal, wenn sein Publikum glaubt, ihn durchschaut zu haben, vollzieht er einen radikalen Stilwechsel und bricht mit Erwartungen
