The Corrupted (2019)
Als London sich zu Beginn des Jahrtausends für die Ausrichtung der Olympischen Spiele bewirbt, wird ein blutiger Krieg um wertvolles Bauland entfacht. Immobilienhai Clifford Cullen ist der unumstrittene König der Londoner Unterwelt und die meisten, die ihm in die Quere kommen, haben keine Zeit mehr, ihre Fehler zu bereuen. So erging es einst auch dem Vater von Liam und Sean. Jahre später versucht Liam, der zwischenzeitlich wegen eines Raubüberfalls im Gefängnis saß, eine Rückkehr ins Leben und hofft auf eine neue Chance bei seiner Frau und seinem kleinen Sohn. Doch sein Bruder Sean, mittlerweile tief im Dunstkreis von Cullens Verbrechersyndikat, reißt auch Liam wieder in einen bizarren Strudel grausamer Gewalt. Verfolgt von korrupten Polizisten und kaltblütigen Gangstern kämpft er verzweifelt um seine Familie und seine Zukunft. Nur ein von seinen eigenen Leuten gejagter Detective und ein junger Journalist können Liam jetzt noch helfen.
