Tage wie Nächte (2018)
Der spätere uruguayische Präsident José Mujica ist Mitglied einer linken, militanten Guerillaeinheit und wird zusammen mit anderen Kämpfern 1972 verhaftet. Unter unmenschlichen Bedingungen wird er in Einzelhaft gesteckt, wie auch zwei seiner Mitstreiter, und sie werden gefoltert und gequält. Als es 1973 in Uruguay auch noch zu einem Militärputsch kommt, scheint jegliche Hoffnung für die drei verloren. Erst 1985 finden in Uruguay wieder Wahlen statt und die Sozialliberalen gewinnen. In dem Zuge werden die drei nach 12 Jahren barbarischer Haft entlassen und machen später Karriere. Das Drama basiert auf wahren Begebenheiten.
