Hear My Song (1991)
Micky O'Neill ist ein Musikpromoter auf dem absteigenden Ast, der mangels zugkräftiger Künstler leider gezwungen ist, immer Fakes, also Imitatoren berühmter Sänger und Sängerinnen anzubieten. Damit kann man natürlich kein Geschäft machen und als er darauf hereinfällt, den großen Tenor Josef Locke zu promoten, der sich ebenfalls als falsch erweist, ist er aus dem Geschäft raus. Um seine Ehre und seine große Liebe zu retten, sieht er nur einen Ausweg: er muß nach Irland gehen und den seit 25 Jahren verschwundenen echten Locke finden. Nur leider droht dem eine lange Gefängnisstrafe, falls er je wieder in England einreist, um dort zu singen...
