438 Days (2019)
Am Vorabend des 28. Juni 2011 setzten die schwedischen Journalisten Martin Schibbye und Johan Persson alles aufs Spiel, um illegal die Grenze von Somalia nach Äthiopien zu überqueren. Nach monatelanger Recherche, Planung und gescheiterten Versuchen waren sie endlich auf dem Weg, um darüber zu berichten, wie sich die rücksichtslose Jagd nach Öl auf die Bevölkerung der abgelegenen und konfliktreichen Ogaden-Region auswirkt. Fünf Tage später lagen sie verwundet im Wüstensand, angeschossen und gefangen genommen von der äthiopischen Armee. Doch als ihre anfängliche Reportage starb, begann eine andere Geschichte. Eine Geschichte über Gesetzlosigkeit, Propaganda und globale Politik.
