29 Palms (2002)
Eigentlich sollte das verschlafene Nest 29 Palms nur ein Zwischenstopp für einen durchreisenden Gauner und seine Tasche voller Bargeld werden. Doch schon bald löst gerade dieser Umstand eine gemeingefährliche Kettenreaktion unter den Bewohnern aus. Aus allen Ecken und Winkeln strömen plötzlich verkrachte Existenzen, die dem armen Dieb an die Wäsche wollen. Sei es der fiese Cop, die unglückliche Kellnerin, der korrupte Richter, mysteröse Killer oder brutale Türsteher des nahe gelegenen Casinos. Sie alle gieren nach der Fahrkarte ins (Un-)Glück und schrecken dafür auch vor Mord nicht zurück...
