The Boys in the Band (2020)
Die Neuverfilmung des gleichnamigen Bühnenstücks nimmt uns mit in die späten 60er, als die Geburtstagsfeier einer Schwulenclique böse eskaliert und jede Menge Angriffe nach sich zieht. Das macht anfangs Spaß, schockiert später durch die Grausamkeit und die Lust an Verletzungen. Einiges an „The Boys in the Band“ ist ein Kind seiner Zeit, dafür funktioniert anderes heute noch so gut wie damals und ist dabei stark gespielt.
