Martha Cooper gilt für die Fans der Street Art als Legende. Die Fotojournalistin war eine der Ersten, die Graffiti auf den New Yorker Subway Zügen und auf den Häuserwänden als Form des künstlerischen Ausdrucks einer sonst ungehörten Generation wertschätzte. Der Dokumentarfilm erzählt von ihrer Passion, von den Menschen, die sie fotografierte und wie sie unerwartet zum Star wurde.
