The Other Lamb (2020)
Tief in den Wäldern lebt eine isolierte Gemeinschaft, jeglicher Zivilisation entsagend, ein Leben in religiösem Wahn. Für die willenlosen Frauen dreht sich alles um ihn – den Hirten. Er allein bestimmt die Regeln und regiert seine Sekte als düsterer Messias mit harter Hand. Andere männliche Mitglieder gibt es nicht. Die empfindsame Selah ist eine seiner vielen Töchter und dem Anführer treu ergeben. Bis Visionen sie zunehmend heimsuchen. Allmählich beginnt die Fassade zu bröckeln und das rebellische Mädchen zu zweifeln, ob der Weg zur Erlösung wirklich über den Hirten führt.
