Neun Monate (1994)
Paris, Anfang der 90er Jahre: Mathilde und Samuel, ein junges, glückliches Paar, genießen das Großstadtleben. Doch als Samuel von seiner Frau erfährt, dass sie schwanger ist, zeigt er sich nicht gerade begeistert. Er vertritt nämlich die Auffassung, dass man mit Kindern verblödet. Doch Mathilde will das Kind haben und verspricht ihrem Mann, dass sich an ihrer Beziehung nichts ändern wird. Je weiter die Schwangerschaft allerdings voranschreitet, desto größer werden die Spannungen in ihrer Beziehung und für Samuel wird die Vorstellung, Vater zu werden, zur Schreckensfantasie. Fassungslos blickt er auf Dominique und Georges, ein befreundetes Ehepaar, das glücklich und entspannt mit drei Töchtern fertig wird und bereits weiteren Nachwuchs erwartet. Für Mathilde und Samuel bleiben manche Hindernisse noch bis zum Ende der neun Monate zu bewältigen.
