Hotel Splendide (2000)
Auf einer entlegenen Insel findet sich das von der Blanche-Familie geleitete Hotel Splendide. Nach dem Tod der Mutter übernehmen die Spleens der Kinder vollends das Kommando: Küchenchef Roland exerziert seinen Hygienewahn, alles zu Brei zu zerkochen. Seine Schwester Cora behandelt Gäste ausschließlich mit Schlammbädern und Einläufen, und Dezmond - entschlossen den Geist der Mutter am Leben zu halten - führt das Hotel in ruinöse Engpässe. Eines Tages betritt Rolands frühere Sous-Chefin und Ex-Geliebte Kath den bizarren Kosmos. Zwischen ihnen entspinnt sich ein Gourmet-Wettkampf, der dem Hotel neues Leben einhaucht.
