Texas Killing Fields - Schreiendes Land (2011)
In einem Sumpfgebiet nahe einer kleinen texanischen Stadt werden wiederholt übel zugerichtete Frauenkörper entdeckt. Detective Heigh, frisch in die Gegend versetzt aus New York, nimmt die Angelegenheit bald persönlich, während sich sein jüngerer Partner, ein Local, aus ebenso persönlichen Gründen kaum für die Fälle außerhalb seines Hoheitsgebietes zu interessieren scheint. Ein junges Mädchen, dessen Mutter sich als Dorfprostituierte betätigt, bringt die Männer auf eine Spur. Da nimmt der Killer die Ermittler ins Visier.
