Retreat (2011)
Für diese beiden gibt es kein Entkommen. Als Martin und Kate sich eine Auszeit auf einer unbewohnten Insel nehmen, wird ihr vermeintlich paradiesischer Zufluchtsort zu einem steinernen Gefängnis von unvorstellbarem Grauen. Denn plötzlich steht ein blutüberströmter Fremder vor ihrer Tür und erzählt ihnen eine apokalyptische Geschichte von einem Virus, der sich rasend schnell in ganz Europa ausbreitet und jeden tötet, der mit ihm in Kontakt kommt. Diese Schreckensnachricht stellt ihr Leben auf den Kopf. Im Kampf gegen die nahende Bedrohung müssen sie sämtliche ihnen zur Verfügung stehenden Mittel einsetzen. Doch ihre Flucht ist nur der Anfang ihres grauenvollen Kampfes ums Überleben…
