Die schwarze Füchsin (1950)
Im 19. Jahrhundert: Das schöne und unschuldige Bauernmädchen Hazel Woodus (Jennifer Jones) lebt im Einklang mit der Natur und den Tieren. Vor allem einen zahmen schwarzen Fuchs liebt sie heiß und innig. Als sie eines Tages Streit mit ihrem Vater (Esmond Knight) hat, läuft sie in den Wald davon. Dort trifft sie der Gutsbesitzer Jack Reddin (David Farrar), der sofort von Hazels Schönheit bezaubert wird. Zum Drama kommt es, als Jack zur Fuchsjagd bläst.
