American Refugee (2021)
Inmitten des gesellschaftlichen Zusammenbruchs stehen Greg (Derek Luke) und Helen Taylor (Erika Alexander) vor der Aufgabe, ihre Familie vor der Anarchie der Außenwelt zu schützen. Als letzten Ausweg sucht die Familie Unterschlupf im Bunker eines Nachbarn, wo ihr Schicksal in den Händen des Familienpatriarchen Winter (Sam Trammell) liegt, einem Überlebenskünstler, dessen Gnade nur so lange währt, wie sie sich als nützlich erweisen. Die Vorräte sind knapp, und als die Spannungen zunehmen, weiß niemand mehr, wem man wirklich trauen kann.
