I Saw the TV Glow (2024)
Teenager Owen lebt in einer Vorstadt. Er ist schüchtern und hat kaum Freunde. Maddy geht es ähnlich, sie verbringt ihre Zeit lieber allein vor dem Fernseher. Als sie Owen eines Tages an eine Fernsehserie namens "The Pink Opaque" heranführt, ändert sich ihr Leben. Beide fristen nicht mehr das Leben eines einsamen Teenies in der Vorstadt. Sie haben eine gemeinsame Obsession. Als sich jedoch Realität und Fiktion miteinander vermischen, beginnt Owen an sich zu zweifeln.
