Miami Magma (2011)
Mitten im Golf von Mexiko: Bei Bohrungen auf einer 40.000 Tonnen schweren Ölplattform wird eine Lavablase freigelegt. Statt Öl strömt heißes Magma an die Oberfläche und die Bohrinsel versinkt in Folge des Unfalls im Meer. Während der Industriekonzern Holter Energy versucht, das Ausmaß der Katastrophe zu vertuschen, unternimmt die Vulkanologin Antoinette (Rachel Hunter) alles, um das Schlimmste zu verhindern. Denn ein unterirdischer Vulkan ist wieder aktiv geworden und droht ganz Miami zu vernichten.
