Das Schwergewicht (2012)
Der 42-jährige ehemalige College-Wrestler Scott Voss verrichtet mehr schlecht als recht seinen Dienst als Biologielehrer an einer Highschool. Als das dortige Musikprogramm aufgrund von Budgetkürzungen gestrichen zu werden droht und der Musiklehrer entlassen werden soll, fängt Scott damit an, Geld aufzutreiben, indem er einen Nebenjob als Mixed-Martial-Arts-Kämpfer annimmt. Jeder hält Scott deswegen für komplett verrückt – vor allem die Schulkrankenschwester Bella. Doch im Zuge all seiner Bemühungen bekommt Scott etwas, das er nie erwartet hätte: Er wird zur örtlichen Sensation, und die gesamte Schule stellt sich geschlossen hinter ihn.
