Das ist die Last des elfjährigen Jonathan Kent und seines unfreiwilligen Partners Damian Wayne im neuen DC-Animationsfilm. An seinem Geburtstag erfährt Jonathan Kent, dass sein Vater Superman ist und er selbst auch Superkräfte hat! Er lernt auch den legendären Dunklen Ritter und dessen derzeitiges Boy Wonder Damian kennen. Doch dann müssen sich beide Jungs unfreiwillig zusammenschließen, um ihre Familie vor bösen Aliens zu beschützen … Werden sie die Super Sons und folgen ihrem Schicksal?
