Red Planet (2000)
Da die Umweltbedingungen auf der Erde immer schlechter werden, sucht man nach Lösungen im Weltraum. Also schickt man ein amerikanisches Astronautenteam auf den Mars, um dort Besiedelungsmöglichkeiten zu erforschen. Doch es gibt unterschiedliche Auffassungen von der Mission und technische Probleme machen eine Notlandung beinahe des gesamten Teams auf der Planetenoberfläche nötig. Dort sehen sie sich widrigen Bedingungen ausgesetzt und auch ein mitgebrachter Roboter wird zur tödlichen Gefahr...
