Book of Love (2022)
Der Roman des jungen und verklemmten englischen Schriftstellers Henry (Sam Claflin) verkauft sich einfach nicht – bis das Buch plötzlich ein Überraschungserfolg in Mexiko wird. Deswegen besteht sein Publizist darauf, dass er zu einer Werbetour dorthin reist, um den Verkauf noch weiter anzukurbeln. Dort angekommen, entdeckt der verwirrte Henry den Grund für die Popularität seines Romans: Die mexikanische Übersetzerin Maria (Verónica Echegui) hat sein langweiliges Buch in einen erotischen Roman umgeschrieben. Der wütende Henry und die nur widerwillig den Begleiter akzeptierende Maria müssen nun gemeinsam auf eine Lesereise durch Mexiko gehen. Die Gegensätze ziehen sich an, während sie gemeinsam durch Mexiko reisen.
