Fast Charlie (2023)
Charlie Swift, aufgrund seiner schnellen, effizienten Ausführung von Aufträgen auch „Fast Charlie“ genannt, ist ein Fixer (sprich: Auftragskiller) mit einem Problem: Dem Mann, den er gerade umgelegt hat, fehlt nun der Kopf. Wie soll er seinem Arbeitgeber Beggar Mercado, bei dem es sich immerhin um den skrupellosesten Mafioso von ganz New Orleans handelt, jetzt beweisen, dass er tatsächlich den richtigen Mann getötet hat? Um den bereits ungeduldig wartenden Mercado zu besänftigen, zieht Charlie daraufhin Marcie Kramer hinzu, die Ex-Frau des Opfers. Wie sich schnell zeigt, hätte er dafür an keine bessere Person geraten können. Denn Marcie ist nicht nur sehr charmant, sondern auch noch ziemlich clever. Zudem weiß sie sich zu wehren, als die zwei gezwungen sind, einen wilden und lebensgefährlichen Trip anzutreten …
