Mediterranean Fever (2022)
Der 40 Jahre alte Waleed (Amer Hlehel) steckt in einer Sackgasse. Zwar hat er Frau und Kinder, mit denen er in der israelischen Metropole Haifa lebt. Aber er leidet auch unter Depressionen und hat es bisher einfach nicht geschafft, sich den Traum von einer Karriere als Schriftsteller zu erfüllen. Erst, als er den neuen Nachbarn Jalal (Ashraf Farah) kennenlernt, scheint ein Licht am Ende des dunklen Tunnels aufzutauchen.
