The Darkest Truth - Im Schatten der Wahrheit (2023)
Das Leben von Investigativ-Journalistin Marissa ist in Schieflage geraten. Ihr Mann ist gestorben, der Kontakt zu ihrem drogensüchtigen Sohn abgebrochen und ihre letzte große Story ist auch schon eine ganze Weile her. Als Sohn Michael ermordet wird, lernt die Journalistin auf der Beerdigung dessen schwangere Freundin Paige kennen und nimmt sie bei sich auf. Beim Versuch, Michaels Tod aufzuklären, geraten die beiden ungleichen Frauen in eine unheilvolle Welt voller Drogen und Korruption.
