Gwendoline Tracey Philippa Christie (* 28. Oktober 1978 in Worthing, Sussex), ist eine britische Schauspielerin, die internationale Bekanntheit durch ihre Darstellung der Brienne von Tarth in der HBO-Serie Game of Thrones erlangte. Ab Juli 2011 übernahm sie die Rolle der kampferprobten Ritterin und die 1,91 m große Schauspielerin bereitete sich intensiv mit Reit-, Schwert- und Bühnenkampftraining darauf vor. Ihr erster Auftritt erfolgte am 15. April 2012 in der dritten Episode der zweiten Staffel, und sie blieb bis zum Serienende 2019 Teil des Haupt-Casts. Im April 2015 wurde zudem bekannt, dass Christie als Captain Phasma in Star Wars: Das Erwachen der Macht zu sehen sein würde – der Film feierte seine Premiere im Dezember desselben Jahres. Weitere größere Aufmerksamkeit erlangte sie mit der Rolle der Schulleiterin Larissa Weems in der Serie Wednesday (2022).
