Edward Fatu war ein samoanisch-amerikanischer Wrestler, der besser unter seinem Ringnamen Umaga bekannt war. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Zeit bei World Wrestling Entertainment. Er war ein Mitglied der Anoa'i-Wrestling-Familie und arbeitete häufig als Teil eines Tag-Teams mit seinem Cousin Matt Anoa'i, das verschiedene Namen trug: The Island Boyz, die Samoan Gangstas und 3-Minute Warning. Während Fatus erstem WWE-Aufenthalt war er als Jamal bekannt und Matt wurde Rosey in Rechnung gestellt. Ende 2005 kehrte Fatu zu WWE zurück. Fatu, der unter dem Ringnamen Umaga neu verpackt wurde, blieb viele Monate lang für die Marke Raw von WWE ungeschlagen, bevor er im Januar 2007 seine erste Niederlage unter dem Namen Umaga einstecken musste. Im darauffolgenden Monat gewann er zum ersten Mal die WWE Intercontinental Championship. und gewann es zum zweiten Mal im Juli 2007.
