Fran Bennett (14. August 1937 in Malvern, Arkansas; † 12. September 2021 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien) war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, die für ihre Arbeiten im Theater und Fernsehen bekannt war. Sie spielte in Serien wie Die Schöne und das Biest, Unsere kleine Farm, Dallas, Falcon Crest, L.A. Law – Staranwälte, Tricks, Prozesse, Emergency Room – Die Notaufnahme, Boston Legal und Scandal. Bennett hatte eine wiederkehrende Rolle in General Hospital und The Bold and the Beautiful und trat in Filmen wie Versprechen in der Dunkelheit (1979), Wie ich in die Uni kam (1989), New Nightmare (1994), Foxfire (1996) und Jessabelle (2014) auf. Neben ihrer Schauspielkarriere war sie von 1996 bis 2003 Leiterin des Schauspielprogramms an der California Institute of the Arts und wurde 2005 in die Arkansas Black Hall of Fame aufgenommen. Sie verstarb im Alter von 84 Jahren.
