Hannah Barefoot ist eine theatererfahrene Schauspielerin, Sängerin und Autorin aus Cody, Wyoming. Ursprünglich wollte sie professionelle Tänzerin werden, doch durch intensives Bühnentraining und das regelmäßige Ansehen von Filmklassikern entdeckte sie ihre wahre Leidenschaft für das Theater. Sie absolvierte ein Bachelorstudium der Theater-, Tanz- und Gesangswissenschaften an der University of Wyoming. Nach ihrem Durchbruch in der Filmbranche mit der Hauptrolle in dem Indie-Kultfilm „The Falls: Testament of Love“ (2014) zog sie nach Los Angeles.
