Sam Richardson (* 12. Januar 1984) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und Komiker. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Rolle als Richard Splett in der politischen Comedy-Serie „Veep“ (2012–2019) von HBO, als Co-Autor und Co-Star der Comedy-Central-Serie „Detroiters“ (2017–2018) an der Seite von Tim Robinson sowie durch verschiedene Rollen in der Netflix-Sketch-Show „I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson“ (seit 2019), als Aniq Adjaye in der Apple-TV+-Serie „The Afterparty“ (2022–2023) und als Norville Rogers in der Max-Serie „Velma“ (2023–2024). In den Jahren 2022 und 2023 wurde er für den Primetime Emmy Award als bester Gastdarsteller in einer Comedyserie für seine Darstellung des Edwin Akufo in Ted Lasso nominiert und gewann den Preis in dieser Kategorie im Jahr 2023.
