Heide Simonis war eine deutsche Politikerin. Von 1988 bis 1993 war sie Finanzministerin und von 1993 bis 2005 Ministerpräsidentin des Landes Schleswig-Holstein. Von 2005 bis 2008 war sie Vorsitzende von UNICEF Deutschland.
