Ihr Musikstil vereint Pop-Rap und Latin-Pop. Bekanntheit erlangte sie 2011 durch mehrere Videos, in denen sie Remixe bekannter Songs auf YouTube veröffentlichte. 2014 gelang Gomez mit „Shower“ der erste Einstieg in die Billboard Hot 100, wo der Song Platz 16 erreichte.
