Roger Allers (29. Juni 1949 – 17. Januar 2026) war ein US-amerikanischer Filmregisseur, Drehbuchautor, Animator, Storyboard-Zeichner und Dramatiker. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Co-Regie bei Disneys Animationsfilm „Der König der Löwen“ (1994), dem erfolgreichsten traditionellen Zeichentrickfilm aller Zeiten, und durch die gleichnamige Broadway-Adaption. Er führte außerdem Regie bei Sony Pictures Animations erstem abendfüllenden Animationsfilm „Jagdfieber“ (2006) und der Zeichentrickadaption von „Der Prophet“.
