Amanda Donohoe ist eine englische Schauspielerin. Bekannt wurde sie im Alter von 16 Jahren durch ihre Beziehung mit dem Popsänger Adam Ant. Während ihrer vierjährigen Beziehung wirkte sie in den Musikvideos zu den Singles „Antmusic“ (1980) und „Stand and Deliver“ (1981) von Adam and the Ants mit. Nach ihrem Filmdebüt in „Foreign Body“ (1986) spielte sie an der Seite von Oliver Reed in „Cast Away“ (1986) und anschließend in zwei Filmen von Ken Russell: „Der Biss der Schlangenfrau“ (1988) und „Der Regenbogen“ (1989). Später zog Donohoe in die USA, wo sie in Filmen und Fernsehserien mitwirkte. Für ihre Rolle als C.J. Lamb in der NBC-Dramaserie „L.A. Law“ (1990–1992) wurde sie mit einem Golden Globe als Beste Nebendarstellerin ausgezeichnet.
