Biografie:: John Hough ist ein pensionierter englischer Film- und Fernsehregisseur, Produzent und Drehbuchautor. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Horror- und Spannungsfilme der 1970er und 1980er Jahre, darunter „Draculas Hexenjagd“, „Tanz der Totenköpfe“, „Incubus“ und „American Gothic“, sowie durch den Actionthriller „Kesse Mary - Irrer Larry“ (1974) und die Walt-Disney-Studios-Produktionen „Escape to Witch Mountain“, „Return from Witch Mountain“ und „Schreie der Verlorenen“, bei dem Szenen von Vincent McEveety neu und zusätzlich gedreht wurden.
