Carolyn Sue Jones war eine US-amerikanische Fernseh- und Filmschauspielerin. Sie begann ihre Filmkarriere in den frühen 1950er Jahren und erlangte Ende des Jahrzehnts, 1958, Anerkennung mit einer Nominierung für einen Oscar als beste Nebendarstellerin für „Die Junggesellenparty“ (1957). Im selben Jahr gewann sie einen Laurel Award für die beste weibliche Nebenrolle sowie einen Golden Globe Award als Nachwuchsstar des Jahres – Schauspielerin für ihre Rolle in „Die Liebe der Marjorie Morningstar“. Ihre Filmkarriere dauerte weitere 20 Jahre. 1964 begann Jones die Rolle der Matriarchin Morticia Addams in der Schwarz-Weiß-Sitcom „Die Addams Family“.
