John Fortune war ein englischer Satiriker, Komiker, Schriftsteller und Schauspieler, der vor allem für seine Zusammenarbeit mit John Bird und Rory Bremner in der Fernsehserie „Bremner, Bird and Fortune“ bekannt ist. Er besuchte die Bristol Cathedral School und das King’s College in Cambridge, wo er John Bird kennenlernte und mit ihm eine lebenslange Freundschaft schloss.
